Qollecta is a non-commercial pilot project. This website uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking tools and no advertising. This is a translation; the German version is legally binding.

2. Hosting and server log data
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). Representative in the EU: EDPO, Avenue Huart Hamoir 71, 1030 Brussels, Belgium. When you visit the site, Vercel processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the address requested, browser and operating system, and the previously visited page.
This data is needed to deliver the site securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR).
The log data is stored only as long as necessary for secure operation and is then deleted automatically. We do not analyse it or combine it with other data. Without this data the website cannot be delivered; there is no legal or contractual obligation to provide it.
3. Fonts
All fonts are loaded directly from this website. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other font provider.
4. Storage on your device
We do not set cookies. So that your settings are kept, the site stores the following in your browser's local storage (Local Storage / Session Storage):
- whether sound should be on or off (
qollecta-sound), - the colour world you chose (
qollecta-farbwelt), - that the opening title has already been shown (
q-intro, only until the tab is closed), - whether your device uses the lighter display for older devices (
qollecta-perf), - the language chosen in the footer (
qollecta-lang), - whether you agreed to load the Vimeo film (
qollecta-vimeo).
This information never leaves your device. Storing it is strictly necessary for the features you request (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time:
5. Film via Vimeo
We embed the Qollecta film via Vimeo, a service of Vimeo, Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, NY 10011, USA. The film is only loaded when you click “Play film”. Only then is a connection to Vimeo established; in particular your IP address and browser details are transferred to Vimeo, including to the USA. We embed the player with the “Do Not Track” setting.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Your choice is stored on your device so that the film plays automatically on your next visit. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the button above. More information: vimeo.com/privacy.
6. Contact by email
If you write to us, we process your email address and your message in order to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Our mailbox is operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We delete your request once it has been dealt with and no retention obligation applies.
7. Beta test via TestFlight
For the beta test we link to Apple TestFlight. If you take part, Apple's privacy policy applies. Apple discloses in TestFlight which data it shares with us as the developer (e.g. crash reports and voluntary feedback).
8. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). Just write to us at qollecta@gmail.com.

9. No automated decisions
There is no automated decision-making and no profiling.
